Grid Coordinator
The Grid Coordinator is responsible for assigning hangar/tent spaces to the vendors. The Grid Coordinator will review vendor preferences, fire/safety requirements, lessons learned and the hangar/tent layouts to develop a proposed vendor map. This map (grid) will be coordinated with the Bazaar Chair, Sales Director, and Hangar Operations Manager prior to the Bazaar.
During the Bazaar set-up, the Grid Coordinator will work side by side with the Hangar Operations Manager to ensure proper taping of the hangars/tent in accordance with the Grid. The Grid Coordinator will also be available during vendor set up days to address any questions regarding the layout.
The Grid Coordinator reports directly to the Vendor and Operations Director before, during and after Bazaar Operations. However the Grid Coordinator works closely with other members of the Vendor and Operations Team. At the request of the Hangar Operations Manager (and with Grid Coordinator concurrence) the Grid Coordinator may assume a Hangar Lead position during the Bazaar.
Applicants must also possess strong organizational skills and be willing to resolve conflicts. The Grid Coordinator must be familiar with computer programs to include Word, Excel, and mail merge skills as well as be willing to be trained on the use of VISIO and Google Sheets. This is a great POSITION for someone who loves puzzles!
