HANGAR OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Hangar Operations Manager is the first line in resolving any vendor issues that arise in the hangar during Bazaar Operations. The Hangar Manager reports directly to the Operations Director before, during, and after Bazaar Operations and will ensure that the Bazaar Chair is knowledgeable of significant issues that may arise during Bazaar Operations.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

Technical Proficiency: Google Suite for email communications, monthly reports, and AARs. The Hangar Operations Manager(s) will follow procedures for vendor check-out and will brief this process to the entire Bazaar Committee at the request of the Bazaar Chair. The Hangar Operations Manager will also develop scenario-based training for the Hangar Leads Team.

Professional Interaction: The Hangar Operations Manager will report directly to the Operations Director(s). Hangar Operations Manager(s) also works closely with the Grid Manager and the Private Org Liaison(s) to complete taping of the hangars and will oversee vendor set-up/tear down.

Flexible Work Environment: The Hangar Operations Manager has a very low volunteer commitment leading up to the Bazaar. 

On-Site Support: Once the Bazaar Committee takes on the Bazaar grounds, be prepared to work 10-12 hr shifts from the Friday of the grid taping and set up, through the Monday of the FOD walk.
